Understanding How Your NBC-HWC Exam is Scored

Is Health Coaching the Right Career for You?

A Note from Dr. Cherie O'Neill (Kroh)...

I often get asked if I am able to provide any 1:1 mentor coaching or personal tutoring for the NBC-HWC Exam.  Unfortunately, I am only consulting at this time.  If your organization is seeking to add health coaching to your healthcare practice, you're a program trying to become accredited by the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC), or you are simply seeking practice test questions to support your students, please don't hesitate to reach out.  I partner with organizations all around the world to assist in elevating the health and wellness coaching skills of all learners.  I am especially focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion, motivational interviewing, and emotional intelligence/mindfulness.

If you are interested in 1:1 mentor coaching, please reach out to one of the best coaches I have ever met, Gregory O'Neill.  He only takes referrals at this time.

If you were in the same position a year from now, as you are in today, how would that feel? This was a question asked of me before I earned my Coaching certification and one that currently resonates with me every day. It is a question that encourages all of us to think about where we are personally and professionally, and whether we are satisfied with our current results. If we are satisfied, do we take the time to celebrate our accomplishments? If we are not entirely satisfied, are we willing to create new strategies and behaviors, as well as release old thoughts about who we are and what we are capable of?

I am a Master Certified Coach (MCC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and an Energy Leadership Master Practitioner (ELI-MP), and as your mentor coach, I will work with you to discover opportunities to harness your strengths and personal style to elevate your coaching skills.  When we work together you will establish what it is you want to accomplish or change, unearth beliefs and thoughts that no longer serve you, and begin to mindfully create a coaching practice that will not only honor who you truly are.  I specialize in helping coaches learn how to get to the heart of the matter and move away from superficial coaching conversations.  In addition, I specialize in helping coaches connect with clients/patients that are referred or perhaps "required" to participate in coaching.

I value peace, connection, and clarity above all else. I believe mindfulness practices, as well as thinking and living with intention, are the keys to reaching and maintaining these, or any other values. I also believe that every thought, and every action, moves us closer to fear or closer to love. We have the opportunity to choose which direction we want to move each and every time.  My coaching style is inviting, motivating, and humorous!
