About Inclusion Health Coaching

Vision

We strive to be THE organization that empowers health coaches to dismantle oppressive systems by creating inclusive and representative health coaching for all.

Mission

To provide all people equal access and outcomes to identity affirming, culturally responsive health coaching with a focus on diversifying representation of NBC-HWC professionals, increasing access, and creating accomplices not allies.

About Us

The School of Inclusion Health Coaching trains future NBC-HWC professionals through the lens of Justice, Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (JEDI) centered on the needs of systematically marginalized identities with a focus on health and wellbeing in healthcare.

We Value

  • Confronting and dismantling systemic oppression, the white supremacy myth, ableism/stigma, colonialism, white-centric health care models and coaching practices

  • Landback, Indigenous Sovereignty, Black Liberation, Fat Acceptance, Neurodiversity, Universal Design, and Intersectional Justice

  • Life-long learning

  • Imperfections

  • Being action-oriented while collectively educating, striving for accountability, and healing

  • Empathy, unconditional positive regard, and the inherent worth of all individuals in this world

Accreditation

The School of Inclusion Health Coaching curriculum is currently being reviewed by the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaching.  We expect to be accredited by our launch date in August 2023.  Dr. Kroh is the Director of the M.A. and Certificate programs in Integrative Health & Wellbeing Coaching at the University of Minnesota which are both accredited.  Thus, she is very familiar with the process.
